Well well, this cafe was pretty deep inside of Chinatown.

Just remember to keep your eyes on a lookout on the right hand side, cause its a one way street, and you'll get to see it.

Inside, the chairs and tables are very structured in placing.

Which is quite nice, not very sempit in a way.

I like the fork, spoon and knife thingy hand on the wall.

Pretty rustic ehh?

And the tables that are next to the wall, they hang on some water so it's easy to grab and not troublesome for the waiters/waitresses.

When I saw the whole wall of this, I am amazed.

Not sure how long it took for them to paint the whole wall!

Toast #12

With mayonnaise and cheddar at the bottom, topped with cucumber ribbon, along with fried turkey ham and hard-boiled egg at the top.

The mayonnaise and cheddar does works well together, it just gives out a very delicate taste.

Turkey ham was a bit hard to cut through but all together, it works well.

Toast #2

Cream cheese at the bottom, asparagus in between it and sauteed mushrooms, topped with hard-boiled egg.

The sauteed mushrooms are to die for!!! Even though it's pretty salty but they had the exact same taste that Antipodean's mushrooms are giving.

Amazing! I love love love this toast!!!

Toast #4

With cream cheese at the bottom, along with cucumber ribbon, covered with smoked salmon and topped with little capers.

Wooooo, the smoked salmon is just so awesome!!!

Basically its already smoked, so it doesn't have that fishy smell.

Toast #10

Peanut butter with caramelized banana.

Simple yet delicious.

Maybe should do this for breakfast next time.

Toast #7

Cheddar at the bottom, with strawberry jam and sliced strawberries on top.

Never knew strawberries goes well with cheddar.

New combination to me and its so sweet!

An overview.

Saw some others ordered their big breakfast meals and gosh, does it look good.

Sadly my friends don't eat beef, couldn't have a taste of it.

Well, I would assume its good.

Just one thing that I didn't really like. The toast itself.

It was pretty hard to cut and pretty hard to chew on too.

Hope they dont over toast it next time.

Well, hello hello!

Welcome to Part 2!

Because there are a lot of alleys and I don't think one post is enough for all, since there are many pictures for all to see.

Here is the Tauke Wee Seng Hee Cultural Lane

The lane is named after a wealthy Chinese trader whose former shop happened to be next to the alley.

The alley features vintage stuff like the telephone booth and post-office box that is still currently in use.

This wall is all full of old sign boards from the shops in Chinatown.

Whereas this wall is full of Chinese calligraphy Han Dynasty era poems.

Beautiful isn't it?

Moving on to the Eco Lane.

Cool idea to use worn out shoes to plant plants eh?

One of the shop owners nearby this lane decided to dedicate the lane with batiks as a tribute to Terengganu's batiks.

Pretty isn't it?

No one would have thought of that.

You can see clearly by the sun rays that beam through the batiks as their styles are different from one another.

Next lane coming up is

Lorong Haji Awang Besar

A Malay style decorative, named after a wealthy Malay businessman who lives nearby.

This wooden house is donated by his family which is also a reminder for all of the small Malay population that lives in Chinatown previously.

Last but not least

Payang Memory Lane

The name is taken from the nearby "Pasar Payang" which happens to sell lots and lots of different batik.

It pays tribute to the leaders of the Chinese community of Kuala Terengganu.

Seven leaders whose face are up on the wall on the left hand side of the alley, their names and what they did for the community were stated.

The umbrellas are to symbolized how the local community is “united in diversity”.

and that is all!

This is in Pasar Payang where there are lots of batik shops around.

Can't give an estimate figure because there are really a lot.

So do stop by Chinatown if you get the chance to come to Terengganu.

You wouldn't regret it.

So let me bring you to the land of the turtles!

So what is there in K.T. (Kuala Terengganu)?

The most famous area in town is the Chinatown a.k.a Kampung Cina!

Because all the alleys are covered with different decorative to enhance the heritage of Terengganu.

Cool right?

So let me bring you to the first alley.

Turtle Alley

Many of the arts on the wall are by different artist and some from students from different colleges.

Pretty unique of what they use to create pictures of turtles.

Even the floor is covered with it.

See the little turtles by the side? Cute aren't they?

and thats the end of it.

They even create a storyline along the way, can read along as you walk.

Well, it's not an alley but there are some fascinating stuff to look at.

Don't know what's the story here, there was no one inside at all.

I bet there was something upstairs as well, but takut la, so I didn't went up :/

But got to see all these amazing old pictures of what Terengganu was like.

I didn't even know half of it.

Don't get that picture of them carrying a house.

Next stop would be..

Green Lane

But there was nothing there at all.

They said it was the first to kickstart the project of the alleys but ape bende pun x de.

But outside or if you walk further down the main road, you'll see this huge poster stick to the wall.

A lady pouring tea.

At first I didn't even know there this thing that exist until there was this aunty asked me where is it.

Was pretending that I'm not around here.

Well, technically I'm not from K.T so... haha

Moving on to the next lane that would be...

World Heritage Lane also called as the Seven Wonders Alley

the alley that actually pays tribute to the seven wonders of the world.

There are descriptions of each wonders of the world that are adorned to the wall on the left hand side of the alley.

Don't really get why they wanna do this but it's pretty cool anyway. Heh.

Well, we don't exactly have a lock bridge, but a lock alley will do perhaps?

Many come here to do what people would do on the bridge of Paris.

The shop next to it sells the locks for RM 10 each.

I bet if the lights are turn on at night, it would really be lovely.

Well, that's the end for this post now.

It's too long and there are still many alleys that I have not mention about.
