Hello peeps!
Back on the streets of PJ!
Ever since I've tried Metal Box, I've saw so many cafes opened! Sorry la not so updated cause not in KL.
and the last time I went there to just see the umbrellas, it was all so empty.

Well, the girls and I wanted to try this cafe.
Sadly there was no cat in a box.
Thought I'd see one actually. How sad.

There were so many things to snap about!
There was suppose to be a rooftop garden but sadly it was damage by rain?
Forgotten how was it damage, but I think it would be a nice scene.

The window looking out looks so cool though, but then the hot sun blaze through.
My girls said that its not direct sunlight but mehhh.
Sit too long under sunlight, me no likey.

Life is too short for bad coffee. #Word

Books and flowers. Mmm.

Beanie bags!!!

Cheesy yet tasty at the same time.

Wholegrain bread that includes mustard and cheese. Mmm.
It looks simple but it is delicious!!

Located in the area of Bukit Tinggi, this restaurant has lots to offer!
Even though it just looks like a normal restauant, but the food is amazing!

I rarely blogged about Chinese cuisine and surely this one is something special for me to blog about.
Packed with people every single day, it does not slow down their cooking process.

and because its so packed, they build a building next to it.
Which will open soon and many more seats can be filled!

They too sell products in jars that you can try it out.
Maybe you might like it too.

The fruit stalls in front of them sells amazing fruits!
Always stopped by there to buy their big ass bananas.
Have one and its filling enough for a meal!

炒花肉 / Crispy Stirred Fry Pork - RM 18.00
Crunch crunch crunch was all I hear when I put it into my mouth.
The salty yet sweet taste lingers while you chew on the crispy pork.

四大天王 / 4 Types of Beans - RM 8.00
I don't really eat lady fingers but when they stirred fry this, its amazing!
The brinjal ohh goodness, delicious.

西洋菜 / Watercress Stir Fried - RM 8.00
Like seriously, I don't really like vegetables, but I couldn't help myself for the second and third helping of this!

非洲鱼 / Asam Steam Fish - RM 25.00
This is really one of the best Asam Fish I've ever had.
The taste is just splendid.
Sweet and sour taste all flame in your mouth.

三王蛋 / 3 Colour Steam Egg - RM 8.00
Nothing can go wrong with their eggs.
Pure slikly smooth egg that just slurp it in.

Overall? Still one of my favourite Chinese restaurant.
Can't wait for them to open to a bigger place thats next to it!

Metal Box @ Empire Damansara

1:10 PM Felicia Grace 0 Comments

So when I was heading to KL, I was wondering which cafe to nom for breakfast?
Clearly, there's so many I've not try it yet.
If only I had more time and a bigger stomach to fill.

Was asking friends where to have brunch, since its my boyfriend's first time having brunch in KL, wanna give a pretty good impression right?
Was so stress out on where to eat, and eventually, we head to Empire Damansara, to Metal Box restaurant and cafe!

I really like how they design, how they manage to get that container into the building itself.
Madness.

Seats were sort of limited, and it was fully packed by 12pm.
Thankful we were there early.

It's MENU time!!!

Cafe Latte - RM 9.90
Hot Mocha - RM 11.90

The Metal Breakfast - RM 21.90
A scrumptious breakfast consists of freshly baked French sour dough, served with homemade cannellini beans, mini hash browns, confit cherry vine tomato and garden greens. Choice of chicken sausage or beef sausage, turkey ham or beef bacon and 2 free-range eggs (poached, scrambled, sunny side up, or over easy.)
The portion itself looks so big!
It was definitely filing.
The poached egg was mmmmmmm. When the egg yolk flow out, it was just divine.
Didn't realize it was in a love shape too!

The Red Benedict - RM 18.90
2 perfect poached eggs on the bed of freshly baked croissant served with saute mushrooms, edamame, choice of beef bacon or turkey ham, topping with homemade hollandaise sauce and red wine glaze.
Everything in this is just heaven.
The red wine glaze made the whole dish touch up itself.
Making it very flavourful.
The mushrooms are ohh so yummy!
Couldn't help myself, keep munching on them like a crazy lady who havent eaten in months!

An Overview.

Overall, the environment is good, ambiance is great, food is slenpdid.
And the food came out so fast, it was like what, within 10 minutes?
The waiters are all very helpful and friendly as well.
Definitely coming back again next time.
A total spending of RM 73.00 including 10% service charge and 6% government tax.
