The Farm Foodcraft @ Bangsar South

Hehe! It's been some time since I ate at Klang Valley.
So friend's fiance recommended this place and I got to say, so fancy!

A map to show you how huge this place is.

So they have an outdoor and indoor seating.
Outdoor is already quite cooling itself to be honest.

This is the indoor seating and I super love the leaves hanging from the ceiling!

Do you see the top part of this picture?
It's where they plant and pluck fresh vegetables!
Really fresh off the farm!

Mmmm, biscuits!

This is their bar that's futher in.

They have another floor upstairs but it's for booked occasions.

 The Farm Foodcraft MENU

Curry Beef Lasagna - RM 30.00
A spicy combination of minced beef, potatoes and onions with garden salad on the side.
The cheese is heavy in this one. But the flavour we couldn't quite accept it. I find it a bit weird la this fusion. Probably didn't like the spice.

Lala Land - RM 36.00
Classic vongole with handmade pasta, clams, bentong ginger, lemon grass and red chilli, garnished with English parsley.
This we love! The soup/sauce of it is so fragrant from the mixture of lemon grass and ginger. Totally finished this plate licking clean!

 Crab Risotto - RM 39.00
Creamy risotto sauteed with mushrooms and capsicum, crowned with deep-fried soft shell crab and served with house made XO sauce.
This soft shell crab is super jeng! The creamy risotto was soooo good too. Although I'm not a fan of capsicum and the risotto is filled with the flavour, still able to munch it all down.

Pear-fect Passion - RM 26.00
A delightful combination of poached pears, rocket, cherry tomatoes and fresh greens handpicked from our daily harvests, sprinkled with shredded parmesan.
Because the salad from the first dish was so good, we ordered this. Poached pears were so soft and delightful and the chunk of cheese is so generous!

So we had a mini bridal shower for this young lady who I known since we were babies back in Terengganu. She's been nothing but a great joy to everybody. And she's getting marrieddddddd.

Overall, the food is delightful apart from the fusion lasagna.
Great ambiance, and everything fresh all around.

Waiter and waitresses were attentive to all our requests, friendly too!
We went on a weekday so it was alright. Probably best to booked beforehand if you're going on a weekend!

Dip n Dip @ Bangsar

Have chocolate cravings lately?
Have you been to this awesome chocolaty place?

Inside the place is so reddish.
Well, red is fab isn't it?

It's pretty chilly inside as you can see, there are so many air-conds inside.
A lot of seats and it is packed as usual.

White Chocolate, Milk Chocolate and Dark Chocolate.
Which would you prefer?

Everyone was served with a fork and a knife.

Water was not free of charge, they charge us per mineral bottle.

Alas, MENU time!!!

Not only in Bangsar, but in other places they have their branch as well!

Brownies Crepe - RM 28.50
Add on One Vanilla Ice Cream Scoop - RM 3.50
A french crepe filled with brownies, topped with our signature Belgian Chocolate of your choice.
So they had like brownies filled in between the crepes, and the crepe tasted like soft pancakes.
It was so damn good.
The chocolate itself was already so delightful and the brownies were delicious.
It's hard to not take another bite at it!

Profiterole - RM 20.00
Delicious puff pastry filled with ice cream, and topped with Belgian chocolate of your choice.
The puff was a bit too hard to even cut through.
Wasn't really nice to chew.
Not sure if that is how a profiterole taste like.

Dip n Dip Crepe - RM 39.50
French crepe filled with your choice of mixed fresh fruits', and topped with their Belgian chocolate of your choice.
Add on Vanilla Ice Cream Scoop - RM 3.50
This was good too!
The fruits were fresh and mix well with the chocolate.
Crepe was so delicious.

Cream Puffs Pyramid - RM 34.00
A pyramid of cream puffs in your choice of Belgian chocolate.
So they look like mini profiteroles stacked together.
I don't know why but I don't fancy their cream puffs.
Maybe because I like softer ones.

An overview.

Overall, yes the meal was good.
But when my brother took the pictures of the inside of the cafe, the staff asked him not to.
Which made us confused.
Was rather rude too.
What am I suppose to blog and show my readers if I can't provide a view of what the cafe looks like inside?
Absurd.
We also have to buy mineral water as they do not give or provide free ice water.

Nutmeg @ Bangsar Village II

So was in Kl for the weekend with a friend, so was wondering why not head out for brunch at Nutmeg?

They had like lots of people working there.
I couldn't believe my eyes.
And they were all really friendly too.

They even have paintings that are to sell on the wall.

Didn't walk around taking pictures of the place, wasn't feeling so well.
Regretted in not taking those pictures :(

MENU time!!!

Cake cake cake...

So my friend, Yi Theng, ordered their Executive set lunch of the day.
Which comes with this side salad with Orange Misu dressing.

Nutmeg Big Breakfast - RM 32.00
They had lots of choices to choose from the menu, which so sorry, it was blur when I captured it.
So I really like the fried macaroni and cheese, something really special and different.
As for the beef sausage, I thought it was too dry.
So it was a bit hard for me to eat.
Couldn't finish my meal, and waiter thought I didn't like it.
Was having such a bad stomachache, couldn't swallow anything that day. What a waste.

Cafe Latte - RM 9.00
Lime Soda - RM 11.00

Don't understand why my camera didn't save the picture of the pasta, but through the set lunch, you get a starter, main course and also a dessert.
This dessert happens to be the taste of Cempedak. So it waste a bit weird but interesting.
By the way, the set lunch was RM 32.00, without drinks.

An overview.

Overall, food came quick, waiters were really friendly, great ambiance.
Got to try some other meals on their menu when I'm not having any sort of stomachache problems.
Total spending of RM 92.40, inclusive of 10% service charge.
