How awesome it is that Lazada is now turning 6!!!
Just in a blink of an eye, our most popular online shopping heaven has already been 6 years.
And boy, look how far they've come and improved!

So to celebrate their 6th birthday, there is an important job to do: Plan the Birthday Party!!
Super thrilled cause I love planning parties!

a. Location, Location, Location...

I would definitely pick Glasshouse at Seputeh!
As searched on Google, *laughs*, 6th anniversary gift in the modern world is Wood.
And where else best represents this at Glasshouse in Seputeh?
It's spacious, with wooden platforms surrounded with trees of forest and gives a little spark everywhere to dance the night away.

b. Party Theme!

Because of the colourful website of celebrating their 6th birthday, I think Hawaiian Luau theme party would best suit their 6th birthday celebration!

So, to have this theme party get going, of course we would need some decorations!!
Searching from Lazada website, I've found tons of things to use for the decoration of the party.

First off, we have the Grass Table Skirting for all tables! Giving it the feels of  enjoying the sea breeze even though you're not at the beach.

To add on the Grass Table Skirting, the Flower Heads can be add to cover up the edges of the table. So it'll look much more like the Grass Skirt that girls wear.

Palm Leaves are a must! Other than decorating as such in the picture, it can be use to put under the plates at the table, giving it more hawaiian vibe!

What's a party without drinks? Pineapple and Coconut Drink Cups are fantastic to use as props and to lighten up the place of the Hawaiian Luau decor!

What's better than to hang these awesome Tissue Paper Pom Poms along the ceiling heights? Hang it with some light bulbs and it'll look spectacular!

When everyone enters the party, they would be given a set of Flower Garland! Accessorize!

For guys to go to the party, there are plenty of Hawaiian shirt designs that can be found on Lazada. It's amazing on what designs they have.

For girls? Maybe something a little bit sexier, the Hula Grass Dance Skirt and Bra! Make all the boys go woo la laa!

c. Birthday Cake? Check.
The bigger the better!
As the American saying, Go Big or Go Home!
So to bake this delicious looking cake, I'll definitely need some products to help me bake it.

To bake a 3-tier cake, of course I'll need 3 different sizes of Cake Mould that could be easily found at Lazada's website!

With all the ingredients of the cake needed, a mixer is needed too! KitchenAid Artisan Mixer really works wonders and they look amazing too. This is my dream mixer and hopefully I'll get to own it one day.

Once the ingredients in the mixer is ready, an oven is needed. I've chose this Panasonic Microwave Oven because it's the only oven I know how to use. *laughs* But hey, it works wonders okay.

To add on the decoration of the cake, there are many Beach Fondant Molds on Lazada that suit the theme!

Other than swim suits and palm trees, Seashells Fondat Molds also best represent the beach and also for the Hawaiian Luau theme.

d. Outfit of the Party
To join a party, one must wear a showstopping dress to get notice. I would totally rock in this Hawaiian Butterfly Dress.

Of course, every woman will accessorize. The Pineapple Shades will look terrific with the outfit.

And by adding on this Flower Hair Clip onto my hair, it'll be glamorous!

That is how to plan an awesome theme birthday party and only the best just for the Lazada team!

All the products above can be found in Lazada and what's best of their 6th Birthday Celebration, is they are having a Birthday Festival Sale!!!

29 Cafe @ Greentown, Ipoh

Hello Hello. So even though I do not agree about Ipoh cafes, I always give it another shot.
Let's see how this one does alright?

It was a sunny afternoon indeed and I scroll on my facebook and google to find cafes to dine in for late lunch.

So upon stepping in, it gives a sunny vibe.
Not bad.

But when we sat down, I could not understand the huge contrast of colours on the wall.

Like I don't get it why make a cement colour wall.
I can understand if the whole place is orange it would be weird but still, there are other colours to choose from than this.

But I like this feature wall.

Took the whole MENU for you guys!
Quite a lot to choose from their menu.

Honey Lemon (Hot) - RM 8.00
More honey than lemon but it taste alright.
It's just a bit sweeter than usual.

Salted Egg Yolk Chicken Rice - RM 16.00
This I like.
I couldn't stop eating the salted egg yolk of the chicken.
My husband and I agreed on sharing our plates but when I ate it, I instantly regret that I had to give him half of mine.

Chicken Chop (Grill) - RM 18.00
Honestly, it looks pathetic.
It's small, the fries were all inconsistent sizes and the one small slice of eggplant, I don't know for what and it wasn't cook through.
We had mushroom sauce and it was salty.
So this plate is a no-no for us.

An Overview.

Overall, hmm, I just like the salted egg yolk chicken.
But the rest of the chinese menu like creamy butter and lemongrass chicken rice, is also the same price that is RM 16.00, it just too crazy. Might as well go restaurant and eat for only Rm 5.50.
Overprice, definitely.
It doesn't make me feel like I'm paying for the ambiance either.
So hmmm, still disappointed in Ipoh cafes.
Hopefully will find a good one that meets my expectation.
