Now we are at Genting!!!
Boyfriend never been to lots of places *Especially makan places*
So its my job to bring him there, and at the same time for me to have a chance to blog about it.

Well well, boyfriend said it was the most classiest place he ever had a buffet in.
I think the design was pretty nice.
I mean look at the amount you pay for. It's damn cheap!!!

They have like lots of tables around.
So they can fit at least 600 guests if I'm not mistaken.

Area wasn't too dim or bright.
Everyone could enjoy their food.

First stop, Flavours of Malaysia.
Pardon my very blur pictures. Was taking food and taking pictures at the same time.
*very hungry lah that time*

Spicy Prawns with Petai

Satay!!!
Basically, in this stop, you will get those typical Malaysian street food.
Laksa, Ho Fan, Spicy Fish and Spicy everything basically, etc.

Next stop, Chinese!

This fried chicken is the bomb!

Beancurd

Soy Sauce Fish

Steamed Vege
It's all very typical Chinese food that you eat in a Chinese resturant.

Next stop, Western!!
This one has got to be the most customers.
I didn't took the picture of the lamb and Carbonara.
The lamb was mmmmmmmmmmmmm good!!!!!!

Spicy Fish Fillet

Lemon herb Fish Fillet

Some toast maybe?
A wide selection for your own salad making.

Dessert bar!!!

When you see the desserts that looks pretty good, faster grab it first, because once its finished, they will refill sometimes the same and sometimes different desserts.

Bread and Butter Pudding

Care for some fruits?

Apple Crumble

Mooncake

and this is what we got, went for another round for desserts too in the end.

At the dessert bar, there is also ice kacang and cendol making that a friendly waitress will serve for you.
A selection of ice cream flavours for you to choose from as well.

I don't know why is it called Lanai Bar.
I just saw alcohol there alright.
Opens at night, dinner buffet.

Coffee and Tea.

They have this coffee machine that works wonder.
One press and you can have your very own, latte, cappuccino, espresso and lots more.

Japanese stop wasn't open, was very very very sad cause I was wanting to eat Jap food.

Last stop, western asian.
Don't know why they don't name it Middle Eastern instead.

Overall, well, okay la, buffet ma.
Ate for whole 2 and a half hours.
Fully utilized the time to eat as much as we can.
Well it's worth it.
Cause we only paid RM 38 per person for the lunch buffet.
It's a special promotion during this time.
Not sure how long this promotion will last, so do head down to eat as much as you can!

Serai @ Pavilion KL

11:13 PM Felicia Grace 0 Comments

So the cousin introduce this place for us to dine our lunch at.
I haven't been on this 7th floor in Pavilion before.
Didn't bother to go up because I don't eat in Pavilion.

It is a really nice place to dine in.
Not really noisy and the atmosphere is great.

Sofas or chairs?
Which will you sit on?

It is pretty spacious inside too.
Many many seats available.

The back of the restaurant can oversee outside of Pavilion.

MENU time!!!

So what they basically serve there is all Asian Fusion.
You can see their full menu here: Serai Menu

Orange Blast - RM 10.50
Soda, orange juice, passion fruit, grenadine, topped with mint and crushed ice.

Milky Bandung - RM 8.50
Rose syrup with soda, fresh milk and a touch of pandan.

Serai Iced Tea - RM 12.00
Lemon sorbet, lemongrass extract and a hint of fresh mint.

Hot Lemongrass Tea - RM 6.50

Serai Platter - RM 25.00
Their signature dish features Serai rice served with portions of oxtail asam pedas, honey squid, fresh acar and ayam goreng rempah.
It is definitely a really big portion.

Sang Har Yin Yong - RM 19.00
Kueh teow and cripsy mee hoon served in egg broth, complemented with fresh water prawns and vegetables.
The kueh teow is under the mee hoon itself.
The egg broth is delicious that makes up the kueh teow and mee hoon really tasty.

Beef Noodle Soup - RM 20.00
Light and refreshing beef broth with flat rice noodles, topped with tenderloin slices, cilantro and crushed peanuts, served with homemade chilli paste.
The squeeze of the lime brightens up the flavour of the soup.
It definitely is light and refreshing.

Chicken Parmagiana - RM 25.00
Crumbed chicken breast topped with Italian tomato sauce melted cheddar cheese served with steak cut chips and garden salad.
It's a bit dry though, not moist enough.

An overview.

They also have a wide selection of cakes you can choose from to have your dessert.

Overall, well it's a normal Asian dish.
Acceptable taste even though I thought it was a bit pricey but heck, it's in Pavilion.
What is not pricey there.
It's definitely worth a bite, but not many bites.
Because the first bite always taste the best.
