The Farm Foodcraft @ Bangsar South

Hehe! It's been some time since I ate at Klang Valley.
So friend's fiance recommended this place and I got to say, so fancy!

A map to show you how huge this place is.

So they have an outdoor and indoor seating.
Outdoor is already quite cooling itself to be honest.

This is the indoor seating and I super love the leaves hanging from the ceiling!

Do you see the top part of this picture?
It's where they plant and pluck fresh vegetables!
Really fresh off the farm!

Mmmm, biscuits!

This is their bar that's futher in.

They have another floor upstairs but it's for booked occasions.

 The Farm Foodcraft MENU

Curry Beef Lasagna - RM 30.00
A spicy combination of minced beef, potatoes and onions with garden salad on the side.
The cheese is heavy in this one. But the flavour we couldn't quite accept it. I find it a bit weird la this fusion. Probably didn't like the spice.

Lala Land - RM 36.00
Classic vongole with handmade pasta, clams, bentong ginger, lemon grass and red chilli, garnished with English parsley.
This we love! The soup/sauce of it is so fragrant from the mixture of lemon grass and ginger. Totally finished this plate licking clean!

 Crab Risotto - RM 39.00
Creamy risotto sauteed with mushrooms and capsicum, crowned with deep-fried soft shell crab and served with house made XO sauce.
This soft shell crab is super jeng! The creamy risotto was soooo good too. Although I'm not a fan of capsicum and the risotto is filled with the flavour, still able to munch it all down.

Pear-fect Passion - RM 26.00
A delightful combination of poached pears, rocket, cherry tomatoes and fresh greens handpicked from our daily harvests, sprinkled with shredded parmesan.
Because the salad from the first dish was so good, we ordered this. Poached pears were so soft and delightful and the chunk of cheese is so generous!

So we had a mini bridal shower for this young lady who I known since we were babies back in Terengganu. She's been nothing but a great joy to everybody. And she's getting marrieddddddd.

Overall, the food is delightful apart from the fusion lasagna.
Great ambiance, and everything fresh all around.

Waiter and waitresses were attentive to all our requests, friendly too!
We went on a weekday so it was alright. Probably best to booked beforehand if you're going on a weekend!

Camper 1991 @ Greentown, Ipoh

4:41 PM Felicia Grace 18 Comments

Alright. So a friend of mine told me this place is quite good and she went back few times so I thought I could give it a try.

 Interior actually quite nice leh.

 Camper 1991 MENU
I like how the menu has pictures of the food items. Super easy to see and think about.

Green Apple Yakult - RM 8.90
Ohhh i love this drink! I like the little jellies at the bottom.

A&W Root Beer - RM 2.90
Well, it's root beer.

Mushroom Soup with Garlie Bread - RM 3.00
Garlic Bread was a bit tough but the mushroom soup was really nice!

Garlic Soya Chicken Wing - RM 13.90
If you've tried Kyochon, this is very similar to it! I really like the soy on the chicken and how crispy it is. Really delicious!

Mushroom Cheese Chicken Chop - RM 18.90
I expected cheese on top of the chicken chop and not in the mushroom sauce though. But overall it is quite delicious. I like the mushroom sauce very much.

Salted Egg York Chicken Pasta - RM 18.90
This however, I could not taste the salted egg but instead I tasted only chili and it was SPICY. Walao, can't eat it at all cause of the spiciness. The breaded chicken on top was really good but super sad that the sauce was horrible.

Overall, almost everything is quite good. Would come back to try other things on the menu cause there are a few things that look quite delicious.

Bean and Butter @ Teluk Intan

4:24 PM Felicia Grace 25 Comments

So I've heard about this cafe a few times from friends in Teluk Intan, and got to hang out with one of my ex students and decided to come try this place!

Interior is okay la. Very cafe interior? They did put a lot of effort in decorating the walls though.

 More cakes!

 Bean and Butter MENU

 Peach Lemonade - RM 9.90
Peach was the artificial flavouring so it was quite sweet I would say.

Moon Rock - RM 8.90
Orange Juice, Soft Drink, Longan and Lemon.
Fizzy orange drink on a hot sunny day is what is needed. I like this drink, although it is quite sweet to begin with.

Wonder Fruit Bowl - RM 11.90
Yoghurt lime dressing in kiwi, green apple, banana, dragon fruit, longan topped with homemade healthy chia seeds jelly and almond.
This is very and absolutely refreshing! The fruits were all so fresh and the ice cubes put in it kept the whole bowl cool the whole time.

Soft Mille (Caramel Ice Cream) - RM 15.90
Fresh baked soft cakes layered with homemade whipped cream served with your choice of gelato.
I really like this. Never had something like this before. I love how soft the cake layers are and the whipped cream in between gave that extra soft touch in your mouth.

Overall, desserts are quite nice. Drinks were sweet.

Looking at the food menu, it was so tempting for me to order but I was already so darn full.
Hope the food is as good as their desserts as the price itself is a bit pricier compare to other cafes in Teluk Intan.
