ANS Coffee @ Kampar New Town [CLOSED]

Well, more and more cafes are appearing in Kampar.
Not surprising and more stuff for me to write perhaps?
*Gonna be so broke*

Previously, this cafe is a bubble tea shop, and at that time it was a trend and there were like more than 5 bubble tea shops in Kampar itself.
They did not really renovate on a lot of the shop, just added on some stuff here and there.

One thing about this cafe though, the coffee beans are everywhere!
but its not like the coffee bean smell is so heavy, but if you did not know,
coffee grounds actually absorbs smells!

Pretty cool that they have a piano there, so whoever wants to play could do so.
Who would have thought to put a piano in their cafe right?
*piano aint cheap nowadays and obviously its not new*

The environment is actually not bad.
Its not too empty, and its not too packed either.

MENU time!!!

What is a cafe without cakes?

Cappuccino - RM 5.50
It was just a so-so.
Needed lots of brown sugar.

Ice Mocha - RM 6.00
Great taste though!

Honey Lemon - RM 5.50
It just had this weird taste in it which I can't tell what.
Not recommended.

Chocolate Waffle with Ice Cream - RM 6.90
Honey coated chocolate waffles covered with bananas and strawberries, topped with vanilla ice cream.
Its not too bad, I would still prefer AnC's waffle though, because even though its chocolate, their waffles are somewhat soft.
I think everyone would prefer waffles that will give you a crunch, aye?

An overview.

Finally got to take picture with hot girl! *squeals*
Yea well this cafe is just a so-so.
The good thing is that it is quite cheap compare to the other cafes in Kampar BUT!
it doesnt taste as good as the others lo.
So expensive things does come with a price.
It's how you look at things whether they are worth it or not.
Total spending of RM 23.90, no government tax and service charge. *woohoo*

Wheel Noodles @ Ipoh Old Town [Change to Big Bowl Ramen]

After the hype of hanging umbrellas at Empire Damansara, which is where Boat Noodle is located at
It's like I'm seeing umbrella hanging everywhere.
For those who read my blog, a post in the alleys of Terengganu, hanging umbrellas are there too.

So yea, it's actually the same lah.
Now sibeh "heng" small bowls of noodles, can *glup* it in a mouthful.
Such as Boat Noodle and Big Spoon.
So since I'm already in Ipoh, why not just go have a try?

The place is actually pretty small.
Maximum a table can fit is 6 people and ngam ngam there were 6 of us. *wiu*

It is actually connected to 1981 - Ben and Lynette, a cafe by TSG.
Therefore Wheel Noodles is also under TSG.

The couple of the year of our church. HAH.

Alright. MENU TIME!

Mickey Mouse Noodle - RM 1.90

Wheel Noodle (Beef) - RM 1.90

Dong Dong Noodle (Fish) - RM 1.90

Soy Milk - RM 3.00
Ipoh White Coffee - RM 3.00

Toast Bread with Half-Boiled Egg - RM 4.80

The beef noodle was alright, some of them don't like it because its sour?
No idea why its tasted sour but I think its just fine.
Most probably because its overnight brew, meaning that its the soup from yesterday.
Any meat soup that's sour means its overnight.
So yuck.
The fish noodle was too peppery.
It's like they pour the whole bottle into it. *yuck*
Coffee was no doubt, best la.
If Ipoh white coffee taste horrible, I don't know what will become of this place LOL.
We didn't had much because it wasn't as good as it seems but overall environment is okay je la.

If you wanna find this place, it's not easy.
It's in one of the alleys in Ipoh old town.
So if you do see a big ass signboard 1981 Guest House
Just walk in straight to the back, because they are connected and you're there!
Total spending of 32.45 included with service charge.

Plan B @ Ipoh

Finally get to try Plan B in Ipoh.
Wanted to come here for a long long time but couldn't find the right people to go with.
Cause what I heard about, they are not cheap at all.

From an old warehouse, to something so spectacular
It's hard to resist to walk in and have a cup of tea to chill.

There were a lot of Yasmin's art hanging around the area.
Good read though.

Opposite of the cafe, there are a few arts and crafts stalls.
and what they are selling are pretty unique.
Will find a time to look further to blog about them another time :)

So they have an indoor and outdoor place for you to chill around.
Well it was cooling enough, don't think we need any cold air conditioning in our face.

Menu time!
Like they say, it's not exactly cheap but not entirely expensive also la.

I wish my stomach could fill in more than a slice of cake.

Chamomile - RM 10

Ice Apple Mint Tea - RM 10
Lychee Lime - RM 11

Lemon Meringue Cake - RM 13

An overview.

Wanted to try their Chocolate Cake but they say tarak :(
but their Lemon Meringue was not bad!
Better than the one I had at Espressamente Illy at Pavillion
That was far too sweet. Urgh.
Drinks was okay and the environment is nice.
Very green and all.
Giving the nature vibes with the sunlight shining through *not literally*
