Project Space @ SS15, Subang Jaya

Located on the first floor just opposite asia cafe, this black and white concept cafe is owned by non other than Malaysia's very own famous bloggers Jane Chuck and Daphne!

Simple yet relaxing, i love the black and white concept.

I love how we can look out with this huge window by the side of the cafe.
Because its located at the corner of the shop, so much space to lookout from the cafe.

If only I had another way of taking this picture.
I really like the lights as well, unique isn't it?

Even though its during the midday, the air-condition keeps us cool with a relaxing environment.

It's MENU time!!!
It's either the Roasted Chicken or Chicken Lagsana, and you get to choose two sides.
Cheese Baked Rice, Roasted Vege or Mushroom Pasta.

Damn it. That Cookie Caramel Cake is what I love both.

If I wasn't so full because of the two previous cafes, I would have gulp down all these amazing looking pastries.

Passionate Juice - RM 15.00
I like passion fruit but this one is much more sour than a normal passion fruit.

Rosemary and Soy Roast Chicken - RM 18.00
Ohh the roast chicken is so tender!! Although the baked rice wasn't really pleasing, but I do love the mushroom pasta and imagine, 4 girls trying to get hold of the small portion of pasta. Hah!

An overview.

Of course to end the post with a picture with the glamorous Daphne!
I was like a suaku deciding whether I should go over and ask a picture to be taken with her.
Daphne was really cute, trying to get her hair in place because it was messed up.
Sadly Jane Chuck wasn't around but I saw her in uniqlo before, and was acting like a crazy girl with my friend.

Talked with the girls and saying look at us, we're older than the girls who owns the cafe, but what are we doing with our life :(
But I do love my job as a teacher of course, career just started slow.

Overall, it's a cool cafe to chill at.
Food can be better, drinks still can improve.
They only just started so there are bound to be hiccups here and there.
But the ambiance of the cafe, we all love it.
So do drop by their cafe and support them.
Total spending of RM 48.00, no service charge or GST. *WOOHOO*

VCR @ Jalan Galloway, Bukit Bintang

Located just behind Swiss Garden Hotel and Residence, this cafe at the corner lot is divine.

Inside, the baristas are full of smiles as you enter in.

The environment inside is really something else.
With their huge frame glasses, its nice to get a little bit of sunlight and also to see out the greenery of the area.

I actually like this spot but it was too hot outside, we just had to find a place to sit inside instead.

Get your water refill alright.

Inside it's not heaty at all because of their air-conditioning, you'll feel so relax.

It's MENU time!!!
Even though there's not much selection on food, but whatever that came out of their kitchen looks good alright.

Fancy some cakes anyone?

Latte - RM 12.00
Chocolate - RM 13.00

Mocha - RM 14.00
Cappuccino - RM 11.00

Black Velvet - RM 13.00
Black colored sponge with rich and creamy frosting.
It's just right. Sweet taste and moist cake.
Heaven.

French Toast - RM 19.00
Fluffy brioche french toast, berries compote, crumbles, mocha sauce and espresso based ice cream.
The toast is really soft and easy to cut through.
The ice cream is really awesome and the crumbles and mocha sauce mix together with the berries is just heavenly!

An overview.

My mocha was more chocolaty, a mixture of both sweet and bitter at the same time.
Although I do think their food is really overprice.
But it does makes it up to par but slightly not good enough with the price that they've put.
I did enjoy the environment and the friendly baristas flashing their million dollar smile.
It's a place to chill.
Total spending of RM 82.00 inclusive of GST but no service charge.

The Front Door @ Grocer's Inn, Jalan Sultan, Chinatown

Well well, this cafe was pretty deep inside of Chinatown.

Just remember to keep your eyes on a lookout on the right hand side, cause its a one way street, and you'll get to see it.

Inside, the chairs and tables are very structured in placing.
Which is quite nice, not very sempit in a way.

I like the fork, spoon and knife thingy hand on the wall.
Pretty rustic ehh?
And the tables that are next to the wall, they hang on some water so it's easy to grab and not troublesome for the waiters/waitresses.

When I saw the whole wall of this, I am amazed.
Not sure how long it took for them to paint the whole wall!
Amazing art!

Alas, it's MENU time!!!

Toast #12
With mayonnaise and cheddar at the bottom, topped with cucumber ribbon, along with fried turkey ham and hard-boiled egg at the top.
The mayonnaise and cheddar does works well together, it just gives out a very delicate taste.
Turkey ham was a bit hard to cut through but all together, it works well.

Toast #2
Cream cheese at the bottom, asparagus in between it and sauteed mushrooms, topped with hard-boiled egg.
The sauteed mushrooms are to die for!!! Even though it's pretty salty but they had the exact same taste that Antipodean's mushrooms are giving.
Amazing! I love love love this toast!!!

Toast #4
With cream cheese at the bottom, along with cucumber ribbon, covered with smoked salmon and topped with little capers.
Wooooo, the smoked salmon is just so awesome!!!
Basically its already smoked, so it doesn't have that fishy smell.

Toast #10
Peanut butter with caramelized banana.
Simple yet delicious.
Maybe should do this for breakfast next time.

Toast #7
Cheddar at the bottom, with strawberry jam and sliced strawberries on top.
Never knew strawberries goes well with cheddar.
New combination to me and its so sweet!

An overview.

Saw some others ordered their big breakfast meals and gosh, does it look good.
Sadly my friends don't eat beef, couldn't have a taste of it.
Well, I would assume its good.
Just one thing that I didn't really like. The toast itself.
It was pretty hard to cut and pretty hard to chew on too.
Hope they dont over toast it next time.
