Aud's by JJ Cafe @ Ipoh

So we are back in Ipoh Town.
Wanted to go Patisserie Boutique but it was closed on that day, so we walked further and saw this!

Not sure was it the same owner of JJ Cafe I been to last time that closed down.

But this one is promising.
Its's very chill, laid back, nice music all around.

Aud's Cafe Menu

Orange Juice - RM 10.00
Freshly squeezed and blend. Refreshing.

Berry Go Round - RM 14.00
A smoothie of mango, mix berried and yogurt together.
Cold and refreshing.

Spaghetti Pork Buddies a.k.a Siew Yuk Pasta - RM 20.00
This is one of their Must Try dishes.
They even wrote on the menu of the spiciness level, that is Medium.
They are really really generous with the Siew Yuk for sure.
Every bite is like so heavenly.

Pulled Pork and Cheese Nachos - RM 15.00
It's all melted cheese and pork on top of corn chips, with some bell peppers.
It's a unique snack I would say, didn't really like the overpowering taste and smell of bell pepper but yea, its like better than normal french fries you know.

Aud's Pesto Pork Burger - RM 20.00
Ground pork that they marinated overnight with their special pesto sauce, with mozzarella cheese topped on it and clasped between charcoal bun.
The beef is so juicy and tender, my brother was ate the whole thing in 5 minutes.

Cant quite recall what cake this was, but it was seriously sinful indeed.

An Overview.

4 out of 5 times I would totally come here again.
Waiters were very polite.
You just feel very much relax there.
Food is awesome. Like PORK EVERYTHING PORK.
So yeaaaaa, totally my type of cafe.

Nam Heong @ Soho, Ipoh

So my parents came by and they wanted to eat at Nam Heong at Old Town.
But it was overly packed and they tried it many times anyway.

So we head over here since none of us been to this Nam Heong before.
Also, it was really famous for its ROBOTS.

Inside I would say very Old Town White Coffee look a like environment.
Bright warm lights and all.
Comfortable because its air condition.

So the robots they have a railway of their own on the floor, so they will just go round and round with it.

Yea mom very happy wanna take picture with the robot.

Nam Heong Menu

Nam Heong Ipoh White Coffee (Hot) - RM 2.90
Nam Heong Ipoh White Coffee (Cold) - RM 3.20
Honestly, its disappointing.
Better go to the original old town Nam Heong to drink is way better.

Nam Heong Chicken Hor Fun - RM 9.40
Tasteless, cold and oily like the picture as you can see.

Egg Noodles with BBQ Pork and Wanton - RM 9.40
This one came out still alright.
But the dish also, came out cold.

Kaya Butter Toast + Soft Boil Egg - RM 6.00
Eggs are alright. At least they're fresh.
Toast were a bit too thick and a bit soggy.

Nasi Lemak with Soy Cube Curry Chicken  - RM 12.90
This plate was not bad.
Curry tasted a bit of spiciness and fragrant.
But the rice is just normal white rice.

Signature Wan Dan Hor - RM 10.30
Bland was all I can describe this dish.
Couldn't even finish it.

 Siew Mai - RM 4.70
Spare Ribs with Black Bean Sauce - RM 5.20
With all that you have read above, I don't think how bad I should explain their dim sum is.

An Overview.

Overall, everything sucks.
Giving 1.0 rating for the appearance of robots.
They didn't even serve you la, just stop by your table and you got to get it yourself.
This is not what I foresee the future should be. Lol.
Plus waiters serve much faster anyway hahaha.
Just come take pictures of the robots and go.
Not worth the money and so pricey also.

Feng Cha 奉茶 @ Ipoh Soho

So, bubble teas are hyping up in Ipoh as well, turning Ipoh Soho into the next SS15.

This bubble tea however really invested in their interior design and its gorgeous!
Its like you pay for the environment haha.

The queue in here isn't as bad as the others probably because they are famous for their fruit tea but everyone is a bit more crazy for milk tea. hah.

Feng Cha Menu

Coco Oreo Dirty Tea with Extra Boba - RM 13.90
There's cheese on top with oreo crumbs on top of the cheese.
But honestly there is no cheese flavor at all while drinking it.
The whole drink was just fine, not a drink that makes you go nuts or dying for it.
So thank you, next!

Original Fruit Tea - RM 14.80
This is what they recommended, there's orange, guava, watermelon, passion fruit and strawberry. but seriously, there's so many fruits in it there isn't enough water to sip down your throat.
The whole flavor is just so-so, nothing that will wow you.

Overall, like I said, you are basically paying for the environment rather than the drinks.
Because it's also pricey af, would not go a second time so soon for it.
It's nice to go see the place but maybe share a drink with friends to try out if their drinks are for your taste.
