J&D Espresso @ Bandar Utama

Gold and black. Classic isn't it?
Hot Sunday afternoon, thought about having my brunch here.

I really like inside and out of this place.
It's so classically royal.

Hah. I love those on the wall.

MENU time!!!

Earl Grey Tea - RM 8.00

Ice Latte - RM 11.00

Bacon and Egg Pancakes - RM 21.00
Fluffy pancakes with poached egg, pork bacon, mushrooms and herbed spinach drizzled with savory maple sauce for the adventurous breakfast.
Actually, I think twice on ordering this.
Was wondering bacon and pancakes, really?
But when I had the first bite of the combination,I was really being blown away.
Goodness, everything blends so well together, so exquisite!
I was so eager to order another round of it, but kept myself in control, don't wanna be a whale so soon.

Chicken Parma - RM 25.00
Chicken breast freshly crumbed upon order, covered with honey baked ham and melted cheese. Served with herbed fries and salad.
The chicken was alright, a bit too dry but the fries was like woahhhh.
A bite with a crunch.

An overview.

Overall, I'm still now quite thrown off by the pancakes.
It's definitely savory alright.
Still having saliva dropping out from my mouth thinking about it.
It's that good alright.
Total spending of RM 75.80 including 10% service charge and GST.

Kaffe Cafe @ TTDI

Reached here about 3 something in the hot sun afternoon.
Who says you can't have breakfast at pm?

Surprisingly, I got to know this cafe through Groupon!

Many different yet looks similar decorations are around the cafe.
Which does bring the light up in it.

Don't they have really fancy yet cute decorations?

MENU time!!!
I love how they show each drink that are made by what you ordered.

Lemon Tea
Hazelnut Latte

Breakfast in Basket B
Two scones with butter and jam, Bowl of healthy muesli with warm milk.
Scones were pretty rough but it was good.
Not so much on the muesli though.

It also comes with half boiled eggs too!

All Day Big Breakfast
Two eggs (scrambled or sunny-side up), Beef Pepperoni, mushrooms, Cocktail Chicken Sausages, Hash Brown, Tomato, Baked beans with toast.
Scramble eggs were awesome!
Hash browns were great and so is the beef pepperoni, also the ham!

An overview.

Overall, I love the design of the place.
Cheeky designs all around.
Might try their other food next time, cause the menu does look promising.
We got it from Groupon,
so total spending was only RM 29.00.

Nutmeg @ Bangsar Village II

So was in Kl for the weekend with a friend, so was wondering why not head out for brunch at Nutmeg?

They had like lots of people working there.
I couldn't believe my eyes.
And they were all really friendly too.

They even have paintings that are to sell on the wall.

Didn't walk around taking pictures of the place, wasn't feeling so well.
Regretted in not taking those pictures :(

MENU time!!!

Cake cake cake...

So my friend, Yi Theng, ordered their Executive set lunch of the day.
Which comes with this side salad with Orange Misu dressing.

Nutmeg Big Breakfast - RM 32.00
They had lots of choices to choose from the menu, which so sorry, it was blur when I captured it.
So I really like the fried macaroni and cheese, something really special and different.
As for the beef sausage, I thought it was too dry.
So it was a bit hard for me to eat.
Couldn't finish my meal, and waiter thought I didn't like it.
Was having such a bad stomachache, couldn't swallow anything that day. What a waste.

Cafe Latte - RM 9.00
Lime Soda - RM 11.00

Don't understand why my camera didn't save the picture of the pasta, but through the set lunch, you get a starter, main course and also a dessert.
This dessert happens to be the taste of Cempedak. So it waste a bit weird but interesting.
By the way, the set lunch was RM 32.00, without drinks.

An overview.

Overall, food came quick, waiters were really friendly, great ambiance.
Got to try some other meals on their menu when I'm not having any sort of stomachache problems.
Total spending of RM 92.40, inclusive of 10% service charge.

Second Sunday @ Damansara Jaya [CLOSED]

After my cousin picked me up from KL Sentral, it was already after 3pm.
Was so hungry and all I can think about was cafe food.
and after roaming around for an hour, thanks to me, because I kept talking to my couz while he's driving, we got lost for an hour.
We finally got here!!!

Xiao mei mei spoil my picture :(

I love how they designed the place with a couple of zig and zags, here and there.

A real nice cafe.
With typical cafe lights and a tip of glowing green plants at the front door.
Which it does gives it a glow.

Menu time!!!

Latte - RM 10.00
Mocha - RM 11.00

Local Penkek - RM 17.00
Pandan and Coconut pancake topped with caramelized bananas and toasted fragrant desiccated coconut served with gula Melaka syrup and whipped cream. A classic Malaysian kuih flavour.
I hate pandan and I hate coconut.
BUT.
This is one damn good pandan coconut pancake I've ever eaten before!!!
Plus with their caramelized bananas, with the gula Melaka, Oh! So delicious indeed.

Sunny Side Ups - RM 24.00
Double sunny side ups laced with crispy cheddar cheese served on toasted rye with avocado slices, smoked salmon, sauteed herb mushrooms topped with seaweeds and sesame seeds.
I love it. Even though they put lots of seasoning, and I was really thirsty after that, everything on the plate is good alright.

Omelette - RM 22.00
Homemade lamb meatballs with spiced marinara sauce served alongside with cheesy omelette, sauteed herb mushrooms, toasted rye and side salad.
I've got to say, the lamb meatballs are spicy alright.
Well, I can't handle spicy that much but one bite of it, gave me a flame in my mouth.
But the omelette. URGHHHHH SO GOOD.

An overview and me cousin.

Overall, the place is nice and food is great too!
I really wanna have that pandan coconut pancake again.
Maybe bring my boyfriend to let him have a try hah.
*excuses cause i just wanna go again je la*
Total spending of RM 84.00 without service charge and GST. *WOOHOO*
