Myth Eatery and Bar @ M Boutique, Ipoh
Well, this place has been around for quite some time and I don't know why but it was the first place that popped up in my mind when we had to organize a friend's birthday.
All the black frames that covers the restaurant, it was like a puzzle for us who rush because we didn't know which were the doors in. *laughs*
The setting up of the cafe/restaurant clearly compliments the hotel attached next to it.
Giving it a Victorian olden day vibe.
They also clearly sell products on their shelves.
Somewhere like The Story Eatery in Kampar.
So they do have a bar and well erm, it's heavily decorated and not for you to sit at really.
Hence, it erases the purpose of having a bar.
They also sell some wines too.
Actually most wines are empty. Probably dont have much in stock so therefore put empty wine bottles to fill up the spaces to look a lot.
This is what the other side of the restaurant looks like.
Christmas season is in and decorations are up at M Boutique Hotel.
The MENU!!!
Other than all the western and malaysian food that you see, they also do have japanese cuisine on another menu.
Bento Unagi Sushi - RM 33.90
Unagi with side dishes of octopus, jellyfish, mashed potatoes and japanese rice.
Honestly, it's so damn pricey.
Smoked Chicken Wing - RM 18.00
4 pieces of chicken wings marinated in sea salt and butter with mint leaves, 3 slices of cucumber and a cherry tomato.
It's pretty sad looking isn't it?
It's delicious, don't get me wrong but RM 18 for 4 pieces of chicken wings. That's like RM 4.50 for one. The Heck.
It's smaller than the palm of my hand!!!
Turkey Bacon Pizza - RM 35.00
Turkey bacon slice, red onions, black olives, cherry tomatoes, parmesan, and mozzarella cheese.
This is good and although the price is a bit higher, the taste is good, the turkey slices were juicy and overall pretty good pizza.
We also ordered
English Breakfast Tea - RM 11.00
Chamomile Tea - RM 11.00
Both in pots and serves two persons.
Which was very bland.
While we were there, Vivi and I were preparing setting up for our beautiful goddess
Angi Lim while waiting Kelly to bring her over.
So anyone needs a decorator for whatever events, please do feel free to contact me yea!
Overall,
the place looks gorgeous and the ambiance of the place is extremely nice.
But, the food is just too overprice.
Either its too small of a portion or its just doesn't taste nice.
There were not any customers until 8pm so the place was definitely quiet than normal.
I wouldn't go again because of the price of the food and what they served.
