The Farm Foodcraft @ Bangsar South

Hehe! It's been some time since I ate at Klang Valley.
So friend's fiance recommended this place and I got to say, so fancy!

A map to show you how huge this place is.

So they have an outdoor and indoor seating.
Outdoor is already quite cooling itself to be honest.

This is the indoor seating and I super love the leaves hanging from the ceiling!

Do you see the top part of this picture?
It's where they plant and pluck fresh vegetables!
Really fresh off the farm!

Mmmm, biscuits!

This is their bar that's futher in.

They have another floor upstairs but it's for booked occasions.

 The Farm Foodcraft MENU

Curry Beef Lasagna - RM 30.00
A spicy combination of minced beef, potatoes and onions with garden salad on the side.
The cheese is heavy in this one. But the flavour we couldn't quite accept it. I find it a bit weird la this fusion. Probably didn't like the spice.

Lala Land - RM 36.00
Classic vongole with handmade pasta, clams, bentong ginger, lemon grass and red chilli, garnished with English parsley.
This we love! The soup/sauce of it is so fragrant from the mixture of lemon grass and ginger. Totally finished this plate licking clean!

 Crab Risotto - RM 39.00
Creamy risotto sauteed with mushrooms and capsicum, crowned with deep-fried soft shell crab and served with house made XO sauce.
This soft shell crab is super jeng! The creamy risotto was soooo good too. Although I'm not a fan of capsicum and the risotto is filled with the flavour, still able to munch it all down.

Pear-fect Passion - RM 26.00
A delightful combination of poached pears, rocket, cherry tomatoes and fresh greens handpicked from our daily harvests, sprinkled with shredded parmesan.
Because the salad from the first dish was so good, we ordered this. Poached pears were so soft and delightful and the chunk of cheese is so generous!

So we had a mini bridal shower for this young lady who I known since we were babies back in Terengganu. She's been nothing but a great joy to everybody. And she's getting marrieddddddd.

Overall, the food is delightful apart from the fusion lasagna.
Great ambiance, and everything fresh all around.

Waiter and waitresses were attentive to all our requests, friendly too!
We went on a weekday so it was alright. Probably best to booked beforehand if you're going on a weekend!

Therefore @ Mernara Symphony, Seksyen 13, Petaling Jaya

This is one gorgeous cafe!
I've been noticing it since people kept posting it on their IG.

Every corner you turn, it's so instaworthy. I love how much effort they put in to decorate the place.

Isn't every corner lovely?

 And look! Gold cutlery!

Cakes and cakes and more cakes.

 Therefore MENU

Fruity Flamingo - RM 15.00
Pink Guava, Yuzu and Strawberry
At first sip, sour and sweet at the same time, once swallowed, you can taste the pink guava.
So so so refreshing.

Tom's Yummy Two - RM 21
Add On Smoked Salmon - RM 6
Two-colour tom yum pasta tossed with grilled seasonal vegetables, black olives, cherry tomato confit, and fresh cilantro, garnished with fresh galangal.
When I read the description, to me it was just weird but I just got to try it. And boy, it's good! So out of this world. Something so different yet so familiar to our taste buds.

Sistem Buttermilk - RM 29.00
Boneless chicken breast roulade deep-fried with seasoned flour batter, served with a creamy curried buttermilk sauce, sweet potato fries, and mesclun salad.
I love the creamy curried buttermilk sauce, so much excitement in one taste. Chicken was a bit dry for me, but the fries were awesome!

Nacho Regular Jack - RM 20.00
Shredded jackfruits within a pile of nachos, topped with Asian salsa, guacamole, sour cream and cheese sauce.
That's basically nangka among the nachos okay. Weird combination but it works! I super love the guacamole too! I couldn't get enough of this appetizer.

An Overciew.

This cafe is just dead gorgeous, and not only it's pretty on the outside and inside, the food is so wonderful! The place is packed and better make your reservations because or else you'd be waiting for a line. Service was pretty good on a busy Saturday afternoon.
I just don't know what else to say, it's just so good! Just try it out!

Bean Brothers @ Sunway Damansara, PJ

Alright! I've been wanting to come to this cafe for a long long long long time but I've been so busy lately that I didn't manage to just go on a trip to KL for food. So happened got wedding assignment to settle in KL and here we are! At the fabulous Bean Brothers!

I love how industrial it is inside. Spacious yet decorated.

And their Coffee Bar is in the middle of the place. So you can watch them create magic 360 degrees.

It's really spacious as it's two floors high and from the top you can see what the baristas are doing.

Cakes and more cakes!

Bean Brothers MENU

Ice Caramel Latte (Velvet White) - RM 12.00
Velvet White is much lighter coffee compared to Black Suit.
I still find it more towards the bitter end after the sip.

Cafe Mocha (Velvet White) - RM 12.00
However, for Mocha, it taste really good!
Fragrant and all.

Cafe Mocha (Black Suit) - RM 12.00
I like Black Suit though, its a bit fruity and for Mocha it really does blends well.

 Breakfast Burrito - RM 24.00
Wheat Tortilla, Cheddar Cheese, Scrambled Egg, Beef Bacon, Button Mushroom, Shimeji Mushroom, Pico De Gallo with Jalapeno, Corn and Chickpeas, Mesclun.
It might seem not a lot but it is really thick and compact. Eat it altogether does give a refreshing tastebud.

Butter Prawn Pasta - RM 29.00
Tiger Prawn, Creamy Salted Egg Sauce, Cheese, Butter Egg Floss, Squid Ink Pasta.
I love the salted egg sauce. It's thick and chicken floss elevates the dish, something so simple does wonders. Tiger Prawn is good, not as big as I thought it would but then it's not the season also. I find squid ink pasta a bit tougher than normal pasta but it's quite nice.

Peranakan Olio - RM 25.00
Smoked Duck Breast, Kale, Black Olive, Kesom, Angel Hair.
This though. This is the bomb. I now understood why my friend came back here to order the same dish she always eats. Cause its that good! I don't quite know how to explain here but it's just so good.

Eggs Benedict (Lamb Ragout) - RM 30.00
Garlic Butter Spread on Multi-Grain Farmers Loaf, Baby Spinach, Poached Eggs, Sri-Rancha Hollandaise with Lamb Ragout.
When it first came, we were a bit disappointed about the portion la cause it looked really small compare to the other dishes. But none the less, the taste did not disappoints.

An Overview.

I would love to come again to have the pasta cause it's so so good.
Coffee is good too. And most coffee lovers will say they have the best coffee in town.
I myself is a bit allergic to coffee so I'm quite sad la I can't drink so much.
But yes, it's a nice big spacious place, great food and great ambiance.
Something different and unique.
