Natsu Kaki-gori

So I passed by Greentown and saw this SUPER CHIC place.
So I beg the husband to come here after dinner.
Full also die die wanna come.

I think the attraction now is to have a photo corner. Then everyone would come and take and post on social media. It's a good publicity though.

So many choices.

 Natsu Kakigori MENU

Chocolate Black Forest - RM 18.00

I love the coffee powder, definitely very high quality!
There are a few cubes of black forrest cake in the shaved ice.

This is definitely very delicious and one of their top selling as well.

Mango Yogurt - RM 10.90 (Ori Price: RM 14.90)
Basically it tasted like Mango Lassi that you can order from Indian Cuisine restaurants.
But it is very nice. Like it very much too.

Overall, I have yet to try the other kakigori. Everything looks really promising.
Would definitely come back for more.
Bubble tea hype is a bit down lately, and shaved ice are growing on us.

Mad Ramen Bar @ Ipoh

7:33 PM Felicia Grace 1 Comments

Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. I love myself a good ramen bowl. So when this opened, I can't wait to try! Thanks to Maple who told me haha. Cause I really seldom come to this road cause its such a tourist area, so difficult to drive around and park.

It has that modern japanese vibe.
I love the concert walls and the wallpapers of traditional japanese art.

*9/1/2020 Updated Mad Ramen Bar MENU*

Green Tea (refillable) - RM 2.50
Not too thick so very soothing to drink.

Green Yokai - RM 12.80
Green Tea, White Grape, Egg White, Lemon
This is SOOOOOO GOOOOOOOOD.
You can taste the flavour of the white grapes, sweet but not too sweet and the acidic of lemon gives it a kick.

 Takoyaki - RM 7.80

Japanese Octopus ball.
The flavour, there's something missing but I wasn't quite sure what was it.

But worth to order to give it a shot.

Yaki Gyoza - RM 11.80
Pan fried pork and cabbage dumplings with grapefruit ponzu dressing.
Super delicious! the crunch of the outer layer of dumpling and the pork in it is just so good.

Yasai Ramen - RM 15.80
Original tonkotsu pork broth served with ramen, stir fried mixed vegetables, braised egg.
This actually tasted like Fish head noodle soup. Haha. Not bad but all vegetables as mentioned.

Shoyu Ramen - RM 16.80
Shoyu, chicken and vegetable broth served with ramen, pork chasu, braised egg, wakame, bamboo shoots, negi, nori, corn.
This broth is quite nice and the pork is sooooooo good. It's mostly soy sauce based broth so it's a bit more towards to saltiness but not too much.

 Miso Ramen - RM 16.80
Miso, chicken and vegetable broth served with ramen, pork chasu, braised egg, wakame, bamboo shoots, negi, nori, corn, shitake butter.
Miso is something we all have had while having those japanese set lunch/dinner. So yes, it does taste like what you had tasted.

Pork Rib Black Shoyu - RM 21.80
Black shoyu pork broth served with braised pork rib, black fungus, braised egg, spring onions, negi.
This pork broth however, is so fragrant. The pork rib is so delicious, one bite and the meat is off the rib. So so good, wish the rib was more though hah.

White Tonkotsu - RM 17.80
Original tonkotsu pork broth served with ramen, pork chasu, black fungus, mentaiko, red ginger, braised egg, spring onions.
The pork is sooooooo good. Broth is quite nice as well but I would still prefer the brother of the pork rib.

Set Lunch - RM 6.80
Green tea, Edamame, Takoyaki, Fruits.

So they have set lunch that includes these so just top up a small amount to get it. Very very the worth!

Chasu Don - RM 15.80
*9/1/2020 updated*
Pork chasu served with japanese rice, nori, dalkon, braised egg and pork crispies.
Their rice though, cannot. Haha. Their ramen is really the best but their rice is needs a lot of improvement. It was too dry, and flavour isn't there. So just try their ramen okay.

Overall, I love this place!

Already went twice and would love to go again and try all the other ramen flavours.
They also have rice as well, so that's also one thing to look forward too.

Secret Coffee House @ Kampar

6:11 PM Felicia Grace 2 Comments

Alright. This cafe has been a while and I also did an opening stand for them from a client who ordered. So time to go give it a try.

It's so spacious inside, cause the place they have is really huge.

Secret Coffee House MENU

Lemonade - RM 4.90
Lemonade is really refreshing but I hope it was a big more. Cause it wasn't enough for me hah.

Hazelnut Steamed Milk - RM 4.90
I like how it is really steam and the hazelnut flavour is not as strong as you think it would. Just nice.

Bacon Meatball Bolognese - RM 14.90
Bolognese taste quite nice but the meatball however was a bit off though the smell. Probably was in the freezer for far too long. Wasn't really fresh.

Bacon Mushroom Carbonara - RM 14.90
Carbonara was a bit funky as well. Not sure was it because of the shrooms that wasn't fresh. I just couldn't finish it.

Chop Platter - RM 18.90

This was quite worth it I feel cause it has Chicken, Pork and Fish, Fries and salad.
Thought it wouldn't be filing but surprisingly it is!

Overall, the food was a bit meh, drinks were nice though.

Great atmosphere and very spacious. Needed more improvements on their food.
I see they train their staff on how to make drinks as well so there is much more potential at this cafe.
