Harvest Ground @ Subang Jaya

2nd branch of Ground Eatery !
So so happy for my friend, Shirley on her new second opening cafe!

It is just located opposite of Sunway Medical Centre.
Pretty near to A&W, just a few steps next to it.

Inside is very spacious indeed.
High ceilings with decorated walls.
Nothing you can miss.

The brick of wall is the same as the first cafe in Puchong.
Their signature design.

This is the other side of the wall and I love this honestly.
It gives a nature feel and look of the whole cafe. Really brightens up the whole place.
Can even get good instaworthy shots but I was too hungry so accidentally just gobbled up the whole thing before getting a good picture taken.

They also have bar tables next to the main doors that you can enjoy a cuppa for.
Also there are tables outside of the cafe for those who enjoys a cigarette.

MENU!!!
Although now they have a newer menu so a definite must to check them out!

Drinks, you fancy some?
They have really nice special mixtures of drinks that are really awesome.

*Updated*
This is their latest Menu, so check them out!
Made me drooling while reading and looking at it.

The Qing Empire Latte - RM 15
Its a mixture of Matcha and Chocolate.
Sounds a weird combination but the taste is out of this world.
Some people might enjoy it and some people might not.
With its presentation in a jar like that, you'll definitely feel like an emperor.

The Balang - RM 13
It consists of Apple, Lemon, Mint and Ginger.
It does give a refreshing feeling like you're on a tropical beach or something.

Bacon Mushroom Carbonara - RM 20
It has obviously Bacons,  Mushrooms, Soft Poached Egg and Pasta of course.
It is creamy and rich.
With its poached egg oozing out, you'll definitely wanting more after consuming it.

Fried Chicken Strip Gua Bao - RM 20
It consists of Fried Buttermilk Chicken Strip, with the Gua Bao cover over it, with Wasabi dressing inside and a side dish of Sweet Potato Fries.
When you take a bite of it, you will feel the heat of the wasabi kicking in instantly, but the moisture of the fried chicken will help cool down the effect of the wasabi.
Which is surprising as both gives a heaty effect.

The side dish, Sweet Potato Fries, are a bomb!
They are so tasty.
When you consume it hot, the sweetness of the potato does come out.

An Overview.

I have not taste the latest menu, but I must say, it definitely has a lot of potential.
Having a similar menu as the first cafe, and with new food to introduce in their latest menu, a definite yes.
Even the drinks were spectacular, and with good services from the waiter and waitresses.
A really cool place to hang out, to have a chat, quick lunch and much more.
A place which has so much to offer.
Thumbs up.

A Pie Thing @ Bandar Sunway

Woop woop!
I didn't knew there's one in Sunway area!
Good thing we came, its possible that the PJ branch is packed with people.

Wanted to try this cafe long time, ever since people kept posting their marshmallow chocolate pie.

On the inside, it looks pretty soothing.
Grey-ish design.

I really like how the counters are in the middle and they have seats back upstairs.

Alas, it's MENU time!!!
I was pretty blur on how to order, but the very good-looking waiter helped us out.
Just choose a pie you want, chicken, lamb or beef with different texture and flavour inside.
So it depends what you want to top up with on your pie.
It can be Mash + Gravy, Peas + Gravy or all together.
And also they come in sets too!

They have two sections of pies.
One is the dessert section.

And the other is the main section.

An overview.

Dark Smores Pie - RM 10.50
They weren't in the counter on display so you have to order it through the cashier.
Can either be dark chocolate or milk chocolate and we chose dark chocolate.
The marshmallows aren't soft but crunchy!

The Mashacre + Water - RM 18.90
We had the set of ordering a Chicken Mushroom Pie topped with Mash, Peas and Gravy with a bottle of water. Regretted having peas, it was so bitter. Yuck.
But the mash, good Lord. It was so damn good!
For me, chicken pie just so-so. I still like the chicken pie at Dome.

The basket was pretty mini. Heh.
But overall it was nice.
I don't fancy pie as much as a pie-natic, but I would come back for the dessert pies for sure.
Total spending of RM 29.40, included GST but no service charge.

Project Space @ SS15, Subang Jaya

Located on the first floor just opposite asia cafe, this black and white concept cafe is owned by non other than Malaysia's very own famous bloggers Jane Chuck and Daphne!

Simple yet relaxing, i love the black and white concept.

I love how we can look out with this huge window by the side of the cafe.
Because its located at the corner of the shop, so much space to lookout from the cafe.

If only I had another way of taking this picture.
I really like the lights as well, unique isn't it?

Even though its during the midday, the air-condition keeps us cool with a relaxing environment.

It's MENU time!!!
It's either the Roasted Chicken or Chicken Lagsana, and you get to choose two sides.
Cheese Baked Rice, Roasted Vege or Mushroom Pasta.

Damn it. That Cookie Caramel Cake is what I love both.

If I wasn't so full because of the two previous cafes, I would have gulp down all these amazing looking pastries.

Passionate Juice - RM 15.00
I like passion fruit but this one is much more sour than a normal passion fruit.

Rosemary and Soy Roast Chicken - RM 18.00
Ohh the roast chicken is so tender!! Although the baked rice wasn't really pleasing, but I do love the mushroom pasta and imagine, 4 girls trying to get hold of the small portion of pasta. Hah!

An overview.

Of course to end the post with a picture with the glamorous Daphne!
I was like a suaku deciding whether I should go over and ask a picture to be taken with her.
Daphne was really cute, trying to get her hair in place because it was messed up.
Sadly Jane Chuck wasn't around but I saw her in uniqlo before, and was acting like a crazy girl with my friend.

Talked with the girls and saying look at us, we're older than the girls who owns the cafe, but what are we doing with our life :(
But I do love my job as a teacher of course, career just started slow.

Overall, it's a cool cafe to chill at.
Food can be better, drinks still can improve.
They only just started so there are bound to be hiccups here and there.
But the ambiance of the cafe, we all love it.
So do drop by their cafe and support them.
Total spending of RM 48.00, no service charge or GST. *WOOHOO*

Jibby & Co @ Empire Shopping Gallery, Subang Jaya

Well well, as I flew my way to KL, I couldn't help but to stop and nom on a cafe!
I've been wanting to try this cafe for a pretty long time.
Many bloggers have blogged about this so it really triggers me to go!

It's located outside of the shopping gallery.
In it's own building and well, pretty much hot in the afternoon actually.

The design inside is a little bit retro.
Not much of deco because the place is pretty packed with tables and chairs all around.

From the top view.
Pretty cool isnt it?

"Come for the food, Stay for the coffee."

MENU TIME!!!!!!

Cafe Latte - RM 11.00

Casablanca Eggs - RM 28.00
Baked eggs with chicken sausages, chili flakes, ras el hanout and lemon zest spiced Napoli served with Turkish bread.
I have to say, it sucked.
It was so damn salty!
I couldn't finish it, left half of it there.
It was just horrible.
And I thought its one of their signatures.

Chic Breakie - RM 28.00
Poached eggs served with smashed corn, grilled zucchini, cripsy hasbrowns, smoked salmon, ikura and hollandaise sauce.
Now this, is good.
At least it doesnt taste salty, and the eggs were perfect.

Jibby Big Breakafast - RM 31.00
Big breakie choice of scrambled, poached or fried eggs accompanied with beef bacon, chicken sausage, spinach, Portobello mushrooms, hashbrown and roasted tomato and thyme.
Well, you can never go wrong with bacon.
The sauce they gave was a bit funny taste though.

An overview.

Overall? I wouldn't really recommend this place.
Heard from lots of people that they got chased out too for being there too long.
And the food is not really worth the price.
Maybe you can try it once and its enough.
Total spending of RM 113.70, including 10% service charge and 6% government tax.
