Wah, I've been wanting to come to this place for soooooooooooo long.

Finally got the chance to do so.

It isn't very big inside but there's a lot to their decoration.

I was quite surprised when they have so much to eat, so I'll definitely be coming back to taste the other main courses they have.

Nutella Banana Waffle - RM 16.00

Sinful yet heavenly.

The waffle itself is sooooo fragrant, buttery smell.

My friend and I couldn't stop eating this plate and finished it in like a few minutes.

Their gelato is really nice too!

Creamy Cabonara (Smoked Duck) - RM  18.00

My friend said its the best cabonara she ever had in Ipoh.
But I've got to admit, it does taste delicious. Creamy and rich in flavour.

 Classic Chicken Chop - RM 17.00
*Weekday Lunch set
Marinated chicken chop, golden fries, fresh salad with black pepper sauce.
Pepper sauce is so fragrant, even I wanna have half the portion of my friend's food.

 Japan Curry Paste with Breaded Chicken - RM 18.00
*Weekday Lunch set
Did not realize it was pasta until I ordered it.
But it's not a bad combination at all.
I love the crumbs thats on the chicken, Fried but juicy on the inside.

Tortilla Lemongrass Chicken - RM 19.00
Lemongrass chicken chop, pickled papaya, curry mayo, peanut, tortilla and golden fries.
It looks super healthy but the flavour is there.
That curry mayo does give a slight kick to it.

 Aglio Olio - RM 18.00
Glistening from the olive oil, this is a slurp to your lips.
Love how the chili flakes brings the twist to the spaghetti.

Breakfast Waffle - RM 18.00
Waffle, Turkey Ham, Sauteed Mushrooms, cherry tomato and scrambled egg.
A breakfast for a winner!
At first I find it odd but the waffles though, the buttery taste and smell, you just can't get enough of it.
Mushrooms, scrambled eggs are so so delicious!

Golden Chicken - RM 22.00
Fried Chicken Chop, Fresh Salad, Salted Egg Sauce, Charcoal Waffle, Lemon
I love how heaty the chicken chop is hahaha.
Surprisingly good with the waffle and the salted egg sauce is not actually very heavy on salted egg taste but then again, it was quite alright when it all mix up.

Overall,

they have so much potential, and they have added many new items to their new menu!
I'll definitely be back for more.

Going all the way to Bukit Jalil to just have this.

It's not difficult to locate it, just Waze away!

Rarely see cafes are up on the first floor.

But it wasnt that hard to find and it was really packed with people.

We didn't wait for long, just only 3 minutes.

Didn't know the place will be so packed, was actually rushing to BBW.

Although they don't have a real live owl but there are so many owl decorations everywhere!

Actually wondered how they do that.

Do they stick on the wall or paint on it? Hmm.

That lady looks like she's having some interesting topic that she's conveying hah.

But yea that a painting on the wall alright. Pretty cool isnt it?

At every corner of the shop, there are just decorations, pictures, paintings of owls everywhere.

And it was bloody hot that day too.

Seats were really limited.

Pink French Rose - RM 12.00

So cool weh, we drank in these cute little owl cups.

Guess only with tea they serve you these.

Baker on the Go (B.L.B.) - RM 18.00

Juicy Breakfast Lean Beef sliced with flavoured cheddar topped on cheese sauce and mayonnaise.

Hot damn. This is one delicious croissant I've ever had!

The flavouring cheese is just amazing!

We actually fought over this.

Sally Salmon - RM 24.00

Herbs-based waffle golden scramble eggs infused with truffle oil, served with smokey salmon and confit cherry tomatoes.

I'd still prefer the B.L.B. than this. The waffle was just weird probably because of the herbs they mix into the batter.

Salmon just dont really go with waffles.

I thought it would be good, but in here, it just doesnt blend well.

Separately, I think they're fine.

An overview.

Overall, I do like the ambiance of the cafe.

It's nice but when there are so many people around, you can't but feel suffocated.

Probably they need a bigger shop haha.

Total spending of RM 54.00, no service charge, GST already included in the menu price.

MENU time!!!

Magic Cronut - RM 20.00

The Croissant + Donut is full wonders.

The oreo cookie crumbles are all surrounded by it.

The pastry cream filling is although not I expect but its good enough.

The syringe that is filled with chocolate, pump it in and the cronut will be filled with cream and chocolate!

When I cut through it, both cream and chocolate flow out, ohh goodness.

Crunchy Chocolate Pizza - Rm 20.00

It's so filling! We almost could not finish.

If we didn't ordered the cronut, I bet we could finish this pizza without a problem.

The cornflakes were so crunchy and you would think something like this would be weird.

Turns out anything with chocolate is fine!

Passion Peach Tea - RM 13.00

The first time I came to Mad ABout Coco was a year ago with my bunch of awesome friends.

We had the signature Mad About Coco and Tutti Fruitti Waffles for Two.

Both of those are spectacular.

So since coming back, would wanna try something else.

And it did not disappoint me at all.
