VCR @ Jalan Galloway, Bukit Bintang

Located just behind Swiss Garden Hotel and Residence, this cafe at the corner lot is divine.

Inside, the baristas are full of smiles as you enter in.

The environment inside is really something else.
With their huge frame glasses, its nice to get a little bit of sunlight and also to see out the greenery of the area.

I actually like this spot but it was too hot outside, we just had to find a place to sit inside instead.

Get your water refill alright.

Inside it's not heaty at all because of their air-conditioning, you'll feel so relax.

It's MENU time!!!
Even though there's not much selection on food, but whatever that came out of their kitchen looks good alright.

Fancy some cakes anyone?

Latte - RM 12.00
Chocolate - RM 13.00

Mocha - RM 14.00
Cappuccino - RM 11.00

Black Velvet - RM 13.00
Black colored sponge with rich and creamy frosting.
It's just right. Sweet taste and moist cake.
Heaven.

French Toast - RM 19.00
Fluffy brioche french toast, berries compote, crumbles, mocha sauce and espresso based ice cream.
The toast is really soft and easy to cut through.
The ice cream is really awesome and the crumbles and mocha sauce mix together with the berries is just heavenly!

An overview.

My mocha was more chocolaty, a mixture of both sweet and bitter at the same time.
Although I do think their food is really overprice.
But it does makes it up to par but slightly not good enough with the price that they've put.
I did enjoy the environment and the friendly baristas flashing their million dollar smile.
It's a place to chill.
Total spending of RM 82.00 inclusive of GST but no service charge.

Every Sundae by Cielo Dolci @ Damansara Uptown

Another cafe by Cielo Dolci.
Everytime I see that name, I'm like ohh its gonna be good.

It was 9.30pm at night where we wanted to try them desserts.
And guess what, we had to wait because it was so packed.
Sometimes I got really fed up on waiting on every cafe I'm heading.

Look at that line.
We were guessing why are there so many people?
Because they had a very hot and good looking waiter.
Sorry, no pictures. Didn't took one down for you guys to check him out.

and the place is already small enough!
and more on self service.

MENU time!!!
You can choose your own, what base you want it to be.
What toppings you want to have and all sorts.
How much does it cost already written down in the menu for you.

Or you can just ordered what they have already mix it up for you, if you don't know what to get.

Them gelatos.

Giant Cookie - RM 15.00
With Vanilla beans gelato, Popcorn caramel and Butterscotch Sesame sauce.
This is one combination we manage to get right. hah.
The cookie is a bit bitter I think but with the caramel by the side and the sweet gelato, bitterness is gone!

Choux - RM 15.50
With Raspberry Cinnamon Sorbetto gelato, Cotton Cloud and Berries Compote sauce.
Raspberry gelato and berries sauce mixture is a bad idea.
It was so sour!
Ohh by the way, Choux is something like a cream puff but a hole in the middle.
So it's like cream puff + donut.

An overview.

Everyday is Sun Dae.
Well, apart from the good looking waiter, the gelatos are nice and well, expected heh.
The surrounding is colourful, if you dig that.
Would wanna try the waffle next time, and there are many more cafes to explore in Damansara Uptown for sure!
Total spending of RM 32.05, including service charge and GST.

The Owl's Cafe @ Bukit Jalil

Going all the way to Bukit Jalil to just have this.
It's not difficult to locate it, just Waze away!

Rarely see cafes are up on the first floor.
But it wasnt that hard to find and it was really packed with people.

We didn't wait for long, just only 3 minutes.
Didn't know the place will be so packed, was actually rushing to BBW.

Although they don't have a real live owl but there are so many owl decorations everywhere!

Actually wondered how they do that.
Do they stick on the wall or paint on it? Hmm.

That lady looks like she's having some interesting topic that she's conveying hah.
But yea that a painting on the wall alright. Pretty cool isnt it?

At every corner of the shop, there are just decorations, pictures, paintings of owls everywhere.

And it was bloody hot that day too.

Seats were really limited.

MENU time!!!

Cakes always looks so tempting kan?

Pink French Rose - RM 12.00
So cool weh, we drank in these cute little owl cups.
Guess only with tea they serve you these.

Baker on the Go (B.L.B.) - RM 18.00
Juicy Breakfast Lean Beef sliced with flavoured cheddar topped on cheese sauce and mayonnaise.
Hot damn. This is one delicious croissant I've ever had!
The flavouring cheese is just amazing!
We actually fought over this.

Sally Salmon - RM 24.00
Herbs-based waffle golden scramble eggs infused with truffle oil, served with smokey salmon and confit cherry tomatoes.
I'd still prefer the B.L.B. than this. The waffle was just weird probably because of the herbs they mix into the batter.
Salmon just dont really go with waffles.
I thought it would be good, but in here, it just doesnt blend well.
Separately, I think they're fine.

An overview.

Overall, I do like the ambiance of the cafe.
It's nice but when there are so many people around, you can't but feel suffocated.
Probably they need a bigger shop haha.
Total spending of RM 54.00, no service charge, GST already included in the menu price.
