Swiss Hotel Heritage @ Jonker Walk, Melaka

I rarely blogged about hotels but this one is too spectacular!
Thought I did introduce to you guys if you're in the town of Melaka.

Hotel Lobby

I'm terribly sorry of the blur pictures in this post.
There were fungus in the lens that we found out later.
Thousand apologies.

So anyway, in the lobby itself makes you feel so cozy already.
Antique looking chairs and some antique gramophones for you to sit and look at in awe.

They do have shuttle service provided.
You can even rent bicycles from them as well.

This is the exit to the cafe and to the lift up to your hotel room.

Garden Cafe

Moving on to their Garden Cafe.
It's like a buffet style. You can take on how many you want.
Also the breakfast is included when you stay in the hotel.

They serve what is Malaysia's most traditional food that is Nasi Lemak!
The sambal is not too spicy and not too sweet.
Just right.

Don't fancy Nasi Lemak? That's alright.
They have what we Chinese use to eat all the time.
Char Kuey Teow! Add on some short sausages.

Maybe you would like to have some local cakes or tit-bits instead?

Or you're just good with great old toast?
Jam and butter is provided.

Coffee, tea or you?
They have orange juice too if you don't want coffee or tea.

Maybe you would like to have some cereal with fresh milk.

They also serve fried yam, fried banana and currypuff.
Mmm mmmmmmmm.

Your very own Nasi Lemak!

Hotel Room

Walah!
Let me show you the room that we were staying in that time.

A place to put your luggage and hang your clothes and look! A balcony!

Usual stuff in a hotel room.
A tv, a fridge and a table.

Check out the bathroom!

Shampoo, bath towels, face towels, all given.
With a big ass mirror too.

My brother was super duper excited to see a bathtub and he asked me to have one in my own house next time.
Yea right.

It's not over!
Where does this spiral staircase leads to?

to the floor on top!
It links up to the next floor above and it is spacious!
Literally under the roof!

3 beds given.

It is a bit hot in the afternoon because of the sun that hits directly to the roof.

Chairs and small table are given.

Even a tv and a fridge too!

That small door leads to nowhere.
It was just to the edge of the roof.

Another toilet!
But no bathtub la.

The view from the balcony.
Looks directly to the Garden Cafe.

Parking Lot

To find a place to stay in Melaka on the streets of Jonker, the most important thing is to have a car park.
It's really frustrating in Jonker Walk where you really cannot find car park anyway.
So the good thing about this hotel is that they do provide car parks.

Why do I think this hotel is worth the stay?
1. It's in Jonker Walk itself.
2. It has a car park.
3. Do you know how much we pay for the room for 5 people? RM 260 for a night.
RM 260 ONLY GUYS. It's so freaking cheap.
4. They have Wi-Fi everywhere.
So what's not to love?
